Budget 2021 is a critical event for the agricultural sector with the future of numerous agri schemes in the balance, while the continuation of taxation allowances on aspects such as the transfer of family farms and stamp duty relief on agricultural purchases of vital importance.

Ifac, Ireland’s farming, food and agribusiness professional services firm, has teamed up with the Agricultural Science Association (ASA) and the Irish Farmers Journal to hold an online briefing outlining the implications of Budget 2021 for Irish farming and rural communities.

ASA president Dr Anne-Marie Butler chairs the online event and is joined by head of fax at ifac Declan McEvoy, who will share his perspective on Budget 2021 and outline the important aspects for the tax regime and provide an insight into any changes.

Sheep and schemes editor with the Irish Farmers Journal Darren Carty will discuss changes to vital farm schemes for 2021 for all enterprises and what potential changes are coming down the track for farmers.
